Next-level security: two-step authentication (2FA) is now active on Cargopedia

Great news: Protecting your account has become even simpler and more secure. We’ve implemented two-step authentication (2FA) for all Cargopedia users — an extra layer of security that keeps your account safe even if your password were to be compromised.

How does it work?

When you log in from a new or unrecognized device, you’ll automatically receive a verification code at the email address linked to your account.

Enter the code in the window that appears, and you’re done — access is granted.

Devices you use regularly are recognized automatically, so your daily login remains just as fast as before, with no extra steps.

The most important benefit: even if someone knows your username and password, they won’t be able to log into your account. Without access to your email address, the verification code cannot be obtained, and access remains blocked. Your account is protected even in the worst-case scenario.

My Devices — full control in your hands

In the admin panel, you now have access to the new My Devices section, a dashboard dedicated to your account security. Here you can see in real time all the devices that have accessed your account — phones, laptops, tablets — along with information about location, browser, and last usage date.

If you notice a device you don’t recognize, you can block or delete it immediately, directly from the interface. Simple, fast, efficient.

We recommend taking a look at this section and making sure all listed devices belong to you. Your account security is our priority — and now yours too.
